Out and About: Denim and Diamonds event

By Dawn Law

The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra hosted the third annual Denim and Diamonds on April 2 at Greensburg Country Club.
A $1,700 bottle of wine, a safari in South Africa and a vacation in Vail, Colo., were some of the items up for live and silent auction. Guests mingled at food and dessert stations, and danced to Gary Racan and the Studio E Band.

"The true heart of this event is raising funds to support classical music and music education in our community," she said.
